![]() ![]() The candidate will be responsible for all areas of the event sponsorship sales process, including research, creating databases & collaterals, meetings and closing the deals, negotiation, signing off contracts and receivables. As part of the events team, the candidate will carry out income generation activity, primarily through securing sponsorship for our national and flagship events. The Sponsorship Manager-Events plays a key role in the development and implementation of well-planned sponsorship strategy to meet the team's financial objectives. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple events and clients Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating vendor contract Proven relationship management and stake holder engagement experience Motivated by the opportunity to support Organization mission Ability to work with potential contacts and co-ordinate the activities at all levels both internally and externally Proficiency in Microsoft office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal communications skills, including tact & assertiveness and the ability to communicate at all levels A demonstrable record of success in new business development/sales roles Minimum 10 years of experience in either of the following: Sponsorship/sales/business development roles The ideal candidate should have an MBA in marketing from a recognized institution We are looking to hire a very energetic and business/sales focused candidate for a very reputed Organization. ![]()
